The firm is willing to and does collaborate with other legal professionals from time to time and we contract some administrative support from time to time.
The firm utilizes industry leading, state of the art software for certain administrative tasks, including the production of invoices, reports and more, and, from time to time we harness the power of artificial intelligence, namely generative and extractive AI, in the performance of some legal work, in order to help keep client costs down. In every instance in which a lawyer relies on AI for support, for legal research, for example, we check and verify / edit for accuracy.

Jeff Howe, Barrister & Solicitor
Jeff was born in Abbotsford, British Columbia where he grew up playing sports.
He graduated (With Distinction) from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Arts in History from the Faculty of Humanities, 1999.
Jamie Cockburn, Barrister & Solicitor
Jamie was born in Orangeville, Ontario, and lives with his wife in Guelph, Ontario.
He completed his Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Hons.) at the University of Waterloo in 2016. During his undergraduate studies, he worked in several environmental and natural resource-related roles with various government organizations, including Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada.
Steve Schaufert, Legal Researcher
Steve was born in Burnaby, BC and grew up in Abbotsford.
He graduated from University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance in 1996. He then later attended law school at UBC where he obtained his LL.B. in 2000.
