The firm collaborates with other legal professionals as co-counsel and contracts some administrative support, from time to time.
The firm utilizes industry leading, state of the art software to assist with certain administrative tasks, including the production of invoices, reports and more, and, harnesses artificial intelligence (AI) in the performance of some legal work, namely generative and extractive AI, in order to increase efficiencies to help keep client costs down. In every instance in which we rely on AI, legal counsel checks and verifies / edits for accuracy.

Jeff Howe, Barrister & Solicitor
Jeff was born in Abbotsford, British Columbia where he grew up playing sports.
He graduated (With Distinction) from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Arts in History from the Faculty of Humanities, 1999.
Jamie Cockburn, Barrister & Solicitor
Jamie was born in Orangeville, Ontario, and lives with his wife in Guelph, Ontario.
He completed his Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Hons.) at the University of Waterloo in 2016. During his undergraduate studies, he worked in several environmental and natural resource-related roles with various government organizations, including Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada.
Steve Schaufert, Legal Researcher
Steve was born in Burnaby, BC and grew up in Abbotsford.
He graduated from University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance in 1996. He then later attended law school at UBC where he obtained his LL.B. in 2000.
