Administrative Law

When a government board, tribunal or other decision-maker has not afforded one the required degree of procedural fairness or natural justice in the making of a decision, or acted in another way that is unlawful, one’s best avenue to  justice may be to apply for judicial review of the decision by a superior court within the province or to the Federal Court. Remedies if one’s application for judicial review is granted may include an order setting aside the government decision-maker’s decision, and for a re-hearing or re-consideration of the matter, a prohibitive or restraining form of order, or an order in the nature of mandamus requiring that a thing be done.

I have learned over the years that when one’s mind is made up,

this diminishes fear.
